The company was directed to appropriate a differential duty of ₹9,37,50,340 (approximately 9.37 crore) along with interest and penalty at 15%. Whirlpool of India stated that this amount, including interest and penalty, was already fully paid and accounted for by June 2023. Whirlpool of India has emphasized that there is no material impact on its financial, operational, or other activities as a result of this order, as the amounts were settled previously.
