Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WAAREERTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, has announced a revision to a previously awarded project capacity. The company received a Letter of Award for a revised project capacity of 704 MWac / 1,000 MWp, down from the initial 870 MWac / 1,218 MWp. This revision is attributed to evacuation considerations and optimization of DC overloading.

Consequently, the contract value has been proportionately reduced. The original order value was ₹1,252.43 Crore, which has now been reduced to ₹1,039.60 Crore (excluding taxes), resulting in a reduction of ₹212.83 Crore. All other terms, conditions, scope of work, and pricing structure of the original Work Order remain unchanged.

The project is scheduled to be completed within the financial year 2026-27. The entity awarding the contract is Waaree Forever Energies Private Limited (WFEPL), which is a subsidiary of WAAREERTL's holding company. This transaction falls under related party transactions and is stated to be at arm's length.
