Waaree Energies Limited announced that its Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Mr. Amit Paithankar, Whole Time Director & Chief Executive Officer, who is leaving to pursue opportunities outside the organization. Mr. Paithankar will be relieved from his duties on May 15, 2026, or an earlier mutually agreed date. The Board expressed gratitude for his contributions. Concurrently, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board approved the appointment of Mr. Jignesh Rathod, currently Director – Operations, as Chief Executive Officer – Designate, with immediate effect. Mr. Rathod will work closely with the outgoing CEO during the transition period and will officially take over as Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel from May 16, 2026, or earlier upon Mr. Paithankar's release. Mr. Jignesh Rathod is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in manufacturing operations, capacity expansion, and process optimization since joining the company on November 28, 2007. The Board expressed confidence in his ability to lead the company through its next phase of growth, ensuring leadership continuity and operational stability.
