Waaree Energies Limited announced key leadership changes following a Board of Directors meeting held on December 29, 2025.

The Board accepted the resignation of Mr. Amit Paithankar, Whole Time Director & Chief Executive Officer, who is leaving to pursue opportunities as a co-founder at Saarv Solutions Private Limited. Mr. Paithankar will be relieved from his duties on May 15, 2026, or an earlier mutually agreed date. The Board expressed its appreciation for his contributions during his tenure.

Concurrently, the Board approved the appointment of Mr. Jignesh Rathod, currently Director – Operations, as the Chief Executive Officer – Designate, with immediate effect. Mr. Rathod will work closely with Mr. Paithankar during the transition period and will officially assume the role of Chief Executive Officer and Key Managerial Personnel from May 16, 2026, or upon Mr. Paithankar's earlier relieving. Mr. Rathod, an engineering graduate with an MBA and a Doctorate in Business Administration, has been with Waaree Energies since November 28, 2007, bringing over 18 years of experience in manufacturing operations, capacity expansion, and process optimization. The Board expressed confidence in his ability to lead the company's next growth phase, emphasizing leadership continuity and operational stability.
