Vodafone Idea Limited has received a significant communication from the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) regarding its Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues. This communication provides relief by freezing the AGR dues, which include principal, interest, penalty, and interest on penalty, for the period from FY 2006-07 to FY 2018-19 as of December 31, 2025.

The payment structure has been revised, with a maximum of ₹124 crore to be paid annually over the next six years, from March 2026 to March 2031. Following this, ₹100 crore will be paid annually over four years, from March 2032 to March 2035. The remaining AGR dues are to be paid in equal annual installments over another six years, from March 2036 to March 2041.

Furthermore, the DoT will constitute a committee to reassess the AGR dues. The decision of this committee will be final, and the reassessed amount will be repaid between March 2036 and March 2041 in equal annual installments. This update follows a previous communication on December 31, 2025, concerning the AGR matter.
