Alivira will now distribute and promote Boehringer Ingelheim India Private Limited's companion animal products across India. This strategic alliance aims to capitalize on the burgeoning Indian pet healthcare market, fueled by increased pet ownership, a greater focus on preventive care, and rising awareness of animal well-being. Dr. Haribabu Bodepudi, MD & Group CEO of Viyash Scientific Limited, highlighted this as a key milestone towards becoming a major player in the companion animal segment, emphasizing the goal of providing high-quality solutions to pets nationwide. Dr. Vinod Gopal, Country Head of Animal Health at Boehringer Ingelheim India, stated that the partnership aligns with their long-term growth strategy, enhancing market reach and operational efficiency in India. Sequent Scientific Limited was officially renamed Viyash Scientific Limited effective January 8, 2026, following its merger with Viyash Life Sciences Private Limited.
