This action stems from an alleged violation of Rule 9 of the Legal Metrology Packaged Commodity Rules, 2011, concerning the declaration of the manufacturer's name, address, and customer care details on product packaging.

The company received a Memo on October 10, 2025, and a Show Cause Notice on November 15, 2025. In response, Vedant Fashions submitted a request for compounding on December 09, 2025. Subsequently, a Notice dated December 31, 2025, specified the compounding fee. The company deposited the fee on January 09, 2026, and formally informed the authority on January 12, 2026.

The company stated that apart from the ₹50,000 compounding fee, there is no other material impact on its financial or operational activities.
