VA Tech Wabag Limited (WABAG) has announced the securing of a 'Large' order from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for Industrial Water Treatment Facilities. This contract is for the BPCL Bina Refinery Expansion Project at Bina, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The scope of work includes a comprehensive Water Block Package, encompassing a Raw Water Treatment Plant (RWTP), a Reverse Osmosis based Demineralization Plant (RODMP), and a Zero Liquid Discharge Plant (ZLDP). WABAG will be responsible for the Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (EPC) of these facilities.

The project is scheduled to be executed over a period of 22 months. Mr. S Natrajan, Head – Sales & Marketing, India Cluster, expressed delight in receiving this order, highlighting BPCL's confidence in WABAG's technological expertise and execution capabilities. He emphasized that this award reinforces WABAG's leadership in the Oil & Gas sector and its track record in delivering complex water projects.

According to WABAG's classification, a 'Large' order falls within the value range of ₹250 to ₹600 Crores. This announcement was made on January 13, 2026.
