UPL Limited announced that its step-down subsidiary, Advanta Holdings B.V., has entered into an agreement to acquire shares in Hybrid Seeds Vietnam Company Limited. The acquisition is aimed at carrying out seed and related businesses in Vietnam. Hypbrid Seeds Vietnam Company Limited was incorporated on October 3, 2024, and is a newly incorporated company with no prior turnover. The acquisition is not a related party transaction, and the promoter/promoter group/group companies do not have any direct or indirect interest in Hybrid Seeds. The acquisition will be completed on or before December 31, 2025. Advanta Holdings B.V. will hold 100% of the shares in Hybrid Seeds. The cost of acquisition is USD 2,000.
