Uno Minda Limited announced that its Mergers & Acquisitions Committee has approved an investment aggregating up to ₹6.50 crores in M/s. Hexa Sunshine Private Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). The investment will be made by the Company (₹5.25 Crores) and its subsidiary, Uno Minda Kyoraku Ltd. (₹1.25 Crores), in one or more tranches.

The SPV is engaged in generating and distributing renewable energy. The objective of this investment is to source power through wind and solar energy for Uno Minda's and UMKL's units located in Gujarat. This initiative aims to increase the share of power consumption from renewable sources.

The SPV, incorporated on April 16, 2024, currently has no turnover for FY 2024-25. The investment is expected to be completed by Q3 2026-27. The acquisition does not fall within related party transactions, and the promoter/promoter group/group companies have no interest in the SPV.

The Committee meeting was held on January 19, 2026, commencing at 10:30 A.M. and concluding at 11:00 A.M.
