Universal Cables Limited (UCL) announced that its Board of Directors has approved the execution of a Manufacturing Agreement with TS Conductor Corp, USA. The agreement, approved via circular resolution on January 14, 2026, will enable UCL to manufacture High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) Conductors with TS® Aluminium Encapsulated Composite Core.

Under the terms of the agreement, UCL will manufacture and sell these specialized conductors at its facility in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. TS Conductor Corp will supply the Aluminium Encapsulated Composite Core, along with jointing and associated accessories, and provide installation guidance. TS will also grant UCL a limited, non-transferable license to use its Intellectual Property for manufacturing the approved TS® Conductor.

The agreement is initially valid for twelve months from the effective date, with provisions for renewal based on mutual written consent. This collaboration is expected to strengthen UCL's conductor portfolio and allow it to capitalize on opportunities in the high-performance conductor market within the rapidly expanding power transmission solutions sector. The agreement is an arm's length transaction and does not involve any related party interests.
