Univastu India Limited announced today, January 13, 2026, that its Board of Directors has approved the incorporation of an associate company in collaboration with Valecha Engineering Limited. Univastu India Limited will hold a 49% stake, while Valecha Engineering Limited will hold the remaining 51%.

The Board also approved the appointment of Brig. Pravin Shinde as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company, effective January 12, 2026. Brig. Pravin Shinde is a retired Indian Army officer with 34 years of service, including combat experience and decorated for distinguished service. He holds a Master's in Defence and Strategic Studies and an M.Phil in Artificial Intelligence, bringing extensive experience in resource management, infrastructure projects, and security.
