Univastu India Limited has announced the receipt of a significant work order from Larsen & Toubro Limited, valued at ₹391.76 Crores (Rupees Three Hundred and Ninety-One Crore Seventy-Six Lakh Only) including GST. The order pertains to the Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Integration, Testing, and Commissioning of Electrical & Mechanical works for the Mumbai Metro Line 4 and its Extension Corridor (4a) under MMRDA, against CA-298. The scope of the project includes a comprehensive 5-year maintenance period following a 2-year Defect Liability Maintenance Period (DLMP). This involves training, supply of spares, special tools, testing and diagnostics equipment, jigs, and fixtures for maintenance and repairs of E&M systems for 32 stations at the main line and depot. The execution timeline for the Design & Building (D&B) phase is 100 weeks, followed by a 2-year DLMP and a 5-year Comprehensive Maintenance Period (CMP). The project's commencement date is aligned with the main contract, set for 27th November, 2025. Univastu India Limited views this order as a major milestone, reinforcing its position in executing urban infrastructure projects. The long-term maintenance component is expected to provide stable, multi-year revenue visibility and enhance the company's annuity-type project portfolio.
