Union Bank of India has announced a change in its senior management. Shri Bhaskara Rao Kare, Chief General Manager, has superannuated from the bank's services effective January 31st, 2026. In light of this, Shri Sarvesh Ranjan, currently a General Manager, will be elevated to the position of Chief General Manager. This elevation is effective from February 01st, 2026. Shri Sarvesh Ranjan is an engineering graduate with approximately three decades of banking experience. His previous roles include positions in branch banking, regional and zonal offices, staff training college, and the corporate office. He also holds the position of General Manager – Central Recon., Transaction Monitoring & AML at the bank. He has participated in leadership development programs at the University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland and ISB Hyderabad, and holds a certification in IT and Cyber Security from IDRBT, Hyderabad.
