Titan Company Limited has announced the appointment of Ms. Sandhya Venugopal Sharma, IAS, as Chairperson and Additional Director on its Board, effective January 4, 2026. This appointment is based on a nomination from TIDCO, a co-promoter of the company, and was approved by the Board via Circular Resolution on December 29, 2025.

Ms. Sharma will assume the role of Chairperson, succeeding Mr. Arun Roy, IAS, who will continue to serve as a Director on the Board. Ms. Sharma's tenure as an Additional Director is subject to retirement by rotation and will require shareholder approval, which will be sought through a Postal Ballot in due course.

Ms. Sandhya Venugopal Sharma is a 1995 batch IAS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre with extensive experience in administrative and technical roles. Her previous positions include Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary in the Department of Space, and she has also served in key administrative roles in the Government of Karnataka and various departments within the Tamil Nadu cadre. She is not related to any existing Directors or Key Managerial Personnel of Titan Company Limited and is not debarred from accessing capital markets or holding a Director position by any regulatory authority.
