Time Technoplast Limited has announced a significant milestone with the receipt of approval from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) and M/s. TUV Rheinland (India) Pvt. Ltd. for the manufacture and supply of Type-3 Fully Wrapped Fibre Reinforced Composite Cylinders of 2 litres capacity for compressed gases.

This approval makes Time Technoplast the first company in India to receive authorization for various high-pressure gases. The company already holds approvals for Composite Oxygen and Breathing Air (Type-3) Cylinders (6.8 litres) and Composite Hydrogen Cylinders (Type-3: 6.8 litres, Type-4: 150 litres).

The newly granted PESO approval covers a broad range of applications, including transportation and cascade systems for Hydrogen & Oxygen, drone and storage systems for Hydrogen Gas, medical applications such as Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and medical oxygen, and laboratory and metalworking gases like Nitrogen, Helium, Argon, and Carbon Dioxide.

This development is expected to strengthen the company's leadership in advanced composite cylinder technology and align with the 'Make in India, For the World' initiative. The approval is particularly significant for the burgeoning drone market, with hydrogen-powered drones offering extended endurance and reduced emissions, and the growing medical oxygen sector. The company's existing approvals for composite cylinders across various sizes and applications reinforce its commitment to sustainable green energy solutions.
