Thomas Cook (India) Limited and its group company SOTC Travel have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka. This collaboration aims to enhance travel experiences for Indian tourists by combining Thomas Cook India and SOTC's expertise with Cinnamon Life's integrated resort offerings. The partnership is designed to accelerate Indian tourist arrivals to Cinnamon Life by developing enriched travel products, increasing awareness, and ensuring seamless experiences for travelers. The MoU was officially signed by Mr. Rajeev Kale for Thomas Cook India, Mr. SD Nandakumar for SOTC Travel, and Mr. Hishan Singhawansa for Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts. This strategic alliance will leverage Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel's strengths in leisure, MICE, and Bleisure segments. The initiative will focus on product development, knowledge sharing, integrated marketing communications, and consumer activations to boost visibility and drive visits to Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams in Sri Lanka. Rajeev Kale expressed excitement about co-creating a compelling portfolio for one of South Asia's distinctive hospitality destinations, highlighting the all-in-one experience Cinnamon Life offers Indian travelers. SD Nandakumar emphasized the alignment with evolving Indian traveler expectations and the aim to co-create innovative products and drive visitations across various Indian markets. Hishan Singhawansa noted that Cinnamon Life represents a transformative moment for Sri Lanka's tourism landscape and that India is a key growth market. He added that the partnership with Thomas Cook India and SOTC Travel will enable them to tap into their strong distribution and market leadership to drive sustained visitation.
