Tech Mahindra Limited announced the incorporation of Yabx Technologies Uganda Limited, a step-down subsidiary, in the Republic of Uganda on December 22, 2025. This new entity was established by Yabx Technologies (Netherlands) B.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of Comviva Technologies Limited, which is itself a subsidiary of Tech Mahindra. Yabx Uganda's primary business objective is to provide software and analytics platform services within Uganda. The certificate of incorporation was issued by the Office of the Registrar of Companies on December 22, 2025. The initial share capital of Yabx Uganda is UGX 1,700,000, comprising 17,000 shares of UGX 100 each, representing 100% ownership by Yabx Netherlands. The company stated that the incorporation is in line with its main line of business and does not constitute a related party transaction for Tech Mahindra at the time of incorporation. Yabx Uganda is expected to serve clients such as Banks, micro-financial institutions, and other lenders in Uganda. As the entity is newly incorporated, its turnover and previous business operations are not applicable.
