Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) announced the incorporation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES BT Private Limited, in Bhutan on December 16, 2025. This entity was established by Tata Consultancy Services Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (‘TAPL’), a wholly owned subsidiary of TCS. The new subsidiary is positioned within the Information Technology and Information Technology enabled Services sector. Its primary objective is to expand TCS's business operations in Southeast Asia, drive technological innovation, and deliver high-quality IT solutions. The company aims to address the increasing demand for digital transformation in Bhutan and to nurture local talent through employment and training opportunities, thereby contributing to the nation's human capital development. The initial capital subscription for TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES BT Private Limited was made in cash, amounting to 90 million Ngultrum. TCS will hold a 100% shareholding in this new step-down subsidiary.
