Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) has announced the completion of its acquisition of Coastal Cloud Holdings, LLC and its subsidiaries on January 14, 2026. This acquisition was previously communicated on December 10, 2025, and December 16, 2025.

The acquisition was structured through two main transactions. Firstly, Trident LE, LLC, a direct subsidiary of TCS, merged with Coastal Cloud, representing the acquisition of 86% of Coastal Cloud's equity interest. Secondly, TCS North America Corporation acquired the remaining 14% equity interest in Coastal Cloud via the acquisition of SCP V-B Blocker III LLC.

Coastal Cloud Holdings, LLC, which specializes in advisory and AI services, IT, and IT-enabled services, reported a turnover of USD 132 million in CY24 and USD 141 million for the Last Twelve Months ending September 2025. The rationale for this amalgamation is to rationalize the group structure of TCS. The transaction does not involve related parties or promoter group interests in SCP Blocker. Following the acquisition, three subsidiaries of Coastal Cloud in the USA and one in Canada will become indirect subsidiaries of TCS. This information is also available on the company's website.
