Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a strategic collaboration with AMD to accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across enterprises. This partnership aims to help businesses scale AI from pilot stages to full production, modernize legacy systems, and establish secure, high-performance digital workplaces.

The collaboration will focus on co-developing industry-specific AI and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions by integrating TCS's domain expertise and systems integration capabilities with AMD's high-performance computing and AI product portfolio. Together, they will assist enterprises in modernizing hybrid cloud and edge environments, deploying AI-powered workplace solutions, and driving innovation across cloud-to-edge workloads.

TCS is committed to upskilling and certifying its employees on AMD's advanced hardware and software technologies. The companies plan to jointly invest in talent to build a pool of experts capable of co-innovating and delivering next-generation AI solutions. Specific GenAI frameworks are being developed for sectors including life sciences (drug discovery), manufacturing (cognitive quality engineering and smart manufacturing), and BFSI (intelligent risk management). The partnership will also deliver tailored accelerators, frameworks, and best practices to enhance AI performance for both training and inference workloads.

The AMD embedded computing portfolio will support edge innovation and industrial digitalization. This partnership builds on TCS's expertise in delivering customized solutions powered by advanced semiconductors, complementing AMD's platforms for co-innovation and the development of next-generation AI and computing solutions.
