Tata Power Company Limited has announced the allotment of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) aggregating ₹2,000 crore on a private placement basis. The coupon rate for Series I NCDs was discovered at 7.05% and for Series II NCDs at 7.25% through the multiple yield allotment method on December 18, 2025. The Committee of Directors, on December 19, 2025, approved the allotment of 1,00,000 – 7.05% Fixed rate, Unsecured, Senior, Redeemable, Rated, Listed, Taxable, Non-cumulative NCDs and 1,00,000 – 7.25% Fixed rate, Unsecured, Senior, Redeemable, Rated, Listed, Taxable, Non-cumulative NCDs. Each NCD has a face value of ₹1,00,000 and was issued for cash. The total amount raised is ₹2,000 crore, with tenors of 3 years and 5 years respectively. The NCDs have been issued to identified investors on a private placement basis, adhering to the terms and conditions outlined in the Placement Memorandum and other transaction documents. The issue price was determined based on the multiple yield allotment method prescribed by BSE Limited and SEBI. The NCDs are proposed to be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market Segment of BSE Limited.
