Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Limited (TMB) has announced the opening of five new branches as part of its expansion strategy. The new branches are located in Velandipalayam and Kalapatti in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu; Davanagere in Davanagere District, Karnataka; Puthukkadai in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu; and Nikol in Ahmedabad District, Gujarat. The Velandipalayam branch will be located at Site No.5,6, Amutham Nagar, Edayarpalayam to Kavundampalayam Main Road, Edayarpalayam, Coimbatore District, Tamilnadu – 641 025. The Kalapatti branch will be situated at SF No: 777/20, Nehru Nagar, Kalapatti Main Road, Kalapatti, Coimbatore District, Tamilnadu – 641 048. The Davanagere branch will be at D.No:807, 808, Galaxy Complex, K.R.Road, Near Jagalur Bus Stand, Mandipete, Davanagere, Davanagere District, Karnataka – 577 701. The Puthukkadai branch will be located at R.S.No.371/10 -A2, Pulayanvilai, Puthukkadai, Vilavancode Taluk, Kanyakumari – 629 171. The Nikol branch will be at No.18 & 19, Ground Floor, Blueberry, B/H Bhojaldham Flats, Opp to Ganesh Rivera, Gurukul Road, Nikol, Ahmedabad District, Gujarat – 382 350. These new branches are scheduled to commence operations on December 29, 2025. This expansion is in line with TMB's commitment to increasing its reach and serving a wider customer base across different regions of India. The bank has informed the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd and the Bombay Stock Exchange limited about this development.
