The State Trading Corporation of India Limited (STC) has announced the appointment of Shri A K M Kashyap as an Additional Director (Government Nominee Director) on its Board. This appointment is effective from December 15, 2025. Shri A K M Kashyap, currently serving as Deputy Director General (QA) in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, was approved by the present Directors on the Board of STC through circulation on December 24, 2025. This appointment follows an earlier intimation dated November 26, 2025, regarding a change in directorship. The company confirmed that Shri A K M Kashyap is not related to any existing Director on the Board of STC Limited and is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any SEBI order or any other authority. A brief profile of the newly appointed director has been enclosed as Annexure-A, detailing his career progression since joining DGS&D in 1994 and his previous roles, including his tenure as Director (Clothing) in Hqr. DG, NCC.
