SRF Limited announced today, January 20, 2026, that its Board of Directors has approved a significant capital expenditure proposal to establish a New Pharma Intermediate Plant (PIP-2) at Dahej, Gujarat.

This new facility will focus on precursor processes for the production of pharmaceutical products. The projected cost for this expansion is ₹180 Crores. The company expects the new capacity to be added by September 30, 2026.

The investment will be financed through a mix of debt and internal accruals. The rationale behind this strategic move is to capitalize on new and upcoming business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector.
