Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited has announced that its Management Committee of the Board of Directors, in a meeting held on December 24, 2025, approved the transfer of its stressed loan portfolio, including written-off loans, to an Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC). The company has received a binding bid from an ARC for ₹34.55 Crore on a Security Receipt consideration basis. This portfolio has an outstanding balance of ₹493.55 Crore as of October 31, 2025. Spandana Sphoorty will follow the Swiss Challenge Method for bidding to ensure the best possible outcome for the sale, with the final decision to be made according to extant guidelines and the company's relevant policy. The meeting took place from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
