Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited has announced receiving a Letter of Award for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Package for the development of a 250 MWac Grid Connected Solar PV Project. The order has been awarded by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a domestic entity. The total value of this significant contract is approximately ₹725.33 Crore, inclusive of taxes. The project is scheduled for completion within the financial year 2026-27, as per the terms stipulated in the order. This development marks a substantial addition to Solarworld's project portfolio in the renewable energy sector. The event of receiving the letter of award occurred on December 26, 2025, at 4:44 p.m. (IST). Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited confirmed that neither the promoter nor any group companies have any interest in NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
