Simbhaoli Sugars Limited (SSL) has announced the closure of its Unit-Simbhaoli Distillery in Hapur, effective February 5, 2026. However, the exact period of closure cannot be ascertained and the unit will remain closed until further directions are received from the CPCB for revocation. The Hapur distillery contributed 8.28% to the group's net turnover of ₹976.74 crore in the last financial year, with its net turnover being ₹80.83 crore.
