Siemens Limited has announced changes in its senior management personnel. Mr. Sankar Balasubramanian will be stepping down as the Regional Compliance Officer, with his tenure ending at the close of business hours on March 31, 2026. He is moving to a new role within Siemens overseas. Effective April 1, 2026, Mr. Amitava Sarkar has been appointed as the new Regional Compliance Officer. Mr. Sarkar brings nearly two decades of experience in governance, regulatory compliance, integrity frameworks, and legal risk management. He has been with Siemens for over ten years, serving in various senior legal advisory roles across different business units. His previous roles include Head of Legal & Compliance at Primetals Technologies and Lead Counsel for Smart Infrastructure since 2019, where he focused on legal strategy, compliance, and risk management. Mr. Sarkar holds a Bachelor of Laws from Calcutta University and is a certified trainer in Contracts and Claims Management.
