Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) has announced that Shri Harbrinder Singh Bajwa has assumed the additional charge of Director (Domestic Division) effective March 1, 2026 (FN). This appointment is pending approval from the Competent Authority and is in line with the order from the Ministry of Railways. Shri Bajwa, an officer of the 1996 batch of Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), brings extensive experience of approximately 30 years to this role. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. His prior roles include Executive Director (Freight Marketing) at the Ministry of Railways, where he managed the entire parcel business and freight terminal development policies. He also served as Divisional Railway Manager for the Khurda Division of East Coast Railway, one of Indian Railways' highest freight-handling divisions. His experience also encompasses policy involvement in foodgrain procurement and transportation during his tenure at the Ministry of Food & Public Distribution, and managing coal movement as Executive Director (Coal) at the Ministry of Railways. He was also instrumental in the movement of Liquid Medical Oxygen during the COVID-19 pandemic. CONCOR is currently completing the necessary procedures as per the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI regulations for this appointment.
