Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has announced a significant addition to its order book with a maiden order from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited. The order is for the installation of 16,780 Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) and has an aggregate value of ₹654.03 Crores, inclusive of GST.

This development marks the company's entry into the Southern region, expanding its reach and opening new markets. It follows a series of wins in various states including Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Haryana, and Maharashtra within the last month, bringing the cumulative orders to ₹1,900 Crores (inclusive of GST).

The order has been awarded under the Karnataka Government's solar agriculture initiative, aimed at promoting renewable energy adoption and enhancing irrigation infrastructure. Mr. Dinesh Patidar, Chairman of Shakti Pumps, stated that this milestone reflects the continued trust in the company's capabilities and reaffirms the growing adoption of solar pumping solutions across the country. He emphasized the company's focus on timely execution, technological innovation, and contributing to India's renewable energy and sustainable agriculture goals.
