Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has announced the receipt of a significant work order from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. The order is for the supply of 1,897 Stand-alone Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) across the entire state of Madhya Pradesh, under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme. The total value of this order amounts to approximately ₹65.20 Crores, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The company is expected to execute this contract within a timeframe of 120 days from the award date. The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of these solar pumping systems. The base value of the order is ₹59.88 Crores, with the final value including GST being ₹65.20 Crores. The company has confirmed that there are no promoter or group company interests in Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
