Sequent Scientific Limited (now Viyash Scientific Limited) has announced that CRISIL has withdrawn its ratings on the bank facilities of Symed Labs Ltd. This withdrawal follows the amalgamation of Symed Labs with Viyash Lifesciences Pvt. Ltd., and subsequently, Viyash's amalgamation with Sequent Scientific Ltd.

The amalgamation of Symed with Viyash was deemed effective from November 27, 2025, and the amalgamation of Viyash with Sequent was effective from December 16, 2025. These dates are subsequent to the National Company Law Tribunal order dated November 18, 2025, sanctioning the scheme of arrangement. Consequently, Symed Labs has ceased to exist.

CRISIL's decision to withdraw the ratings is in accordance with its policy on the withdrawal of ratings. The ratings withdrawn include those for cash credit, foreign exchange forward, letter of credit, and working capital demand loans previously assigned to Symed Labs.
