Senco Gold Limited reported a strong business update for the third quarter and the first nine months of fiscal year 2026 (FY26). On a standalone basis, the company achieved an encouraging year-on-year (YoY) sales and revenue growth of 51% in Q3 FY26. This follows a 6.5% growth in Q2 and 28% in Q1, resulting in approximately 31% growth during the first nine months of FY26. The trailing twelve months (TTM) revenue has reached approximately ₹8,000 crore. The Q3 YoY growth was driven by a 49% increase in the retail business and a 39% growth in same-store sales (SSSG). For the nine-month period, the topline growth of 31% includes SSSG of approximately 21%. Diamond jewellery sales maintained strong momentum, with a YoY growth of around 36% in Q3 and 34% for the nine-month period. This performance was attributed to targeted festive campaigns, new design launches, and customer engagement during Dhanteras and Diwali, along with wedding purchases and a shift of demand from Q2 to the festive season. In terms of expansion, Senco launched 4 new franchise showrooms in Q3 FY26, bringing the total showroom network to 196, including 8 Sennes and 2 international showrooms. During the nine-month period, 11 franchises and 5 company-owned stores were launched. The company noted that gold prices continued to rise in Q3 FY26, with a ~23% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth and ~65% YoY increase on average, reaching a peak of ₹1,40,000 per 10 grams, compared to ₹1,17,000 in Q2 FY26 and ₹79,800 in Q3 FY25. This rise in gold prices led to significant demand from global central banks and investment-led demand for ETFs, but resulted in muted volume growth. Looking ahead to Q4 and the remainder of FY26, Senco Gold is optimizing its inventory towards lightweight and budget-friendly products due to rising gold prices. The company is prepared for the upcoming Q4 wedding season, Valentine's Day, International Women's Day, and other local festivals, targeting 18%-20% growth in the studded category through curated collections. Senco remains on track to achieve its annual target of opening 20 new showrooms for FY26, expecting to launch another 3 to 4 showrooms under COCO and FOCO models to reach 200 showrooms. They are confident of achieving 25%+ YoY growth for FY26, building on the 31% YoY growth achieved in the first nine months.
