Sarla Performance Fibers Limited has received a Rectification Order under Section 154 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, for the Assessment Year 2018-19. The order, dated January 07, 2026, and received via email on January 13, 2026, revises the total income to ₹50,22,01,570. This revision results in a tax demand of ₹2,15,91,268, including interest, along with a Notice of Demand under Section 156.

The rectification order was issued to correct a mistake apparent from the record concerning the non-incorporation of an adjustment of ₹13,09,400. The company has stated that this order has no impact on its operations. Sarla Performance Fibers Limited has already filed an appeal before the Hon'able ITAT, Mumbai, which is currently pending.
