The subsidiary lodged a First Information Report (FIR) on January 16, 2026, at the Saraswati Nagar Police Station in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The FIR alleges fraud by counter-parties in a new land purchase located at Nevda, Chhattisgarh, involving the concealment of material encumbrances. The company had paid an advance of ₹11.51 crore for the land. Of this amount, ₹6.00 crore has been received back via Demand Draft (DD), and ₹3.00 crore has been received via cheques as part payment. The remaining balance of ₹2.51 crore is under active follow-up for refund and is considered recoverable. Based on the current assessment, no penalty or compensation outflow is expected. The company is actively pursuing the refund of the outstanding ₹2.51 crore. Any financial impact will depend on the outcome of the recovery process and will be accounted for and disclosed in accordance with applicable accounting standards if required. The disclosure was made promptly upon completion of an internal review, with the company stating that any delay in intimation was neither intentional nor deliberate.
