Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has announced the receipt of a Letter of Award (LOA) from North Eastern Railway for the construction of the substructure of an important bridge. The project involves building Bridge No. 50, which has dimensions of 14x61.0 meters and will feature double D type well foundations for a double line. It is designed to meet the RDSO 25 T Axel loading standard over the river Gandak. The work is situated between Paniyahwa and Valmikinagar stations, forming part of the doubling work between Gorakhpur Cantt and Valmikinagar sections of the North Eastern Railway. The total contract value is ₹165,04,33,673.76 (Rupees One Hundred Sixty Five Crore Four Lakh Thirty Three Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Three and Paisa Seventy Six Only), inclusive of GST. The execution period for this project is 24 months. This award is a part of RVNL's regular business operations.
