RHI Magnesita India Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Alvaro Martin Rivero as an Additional Director (Non-Independent & Non-Executive) of the Company. This appointment, approved by the Board of Directors through a resolution passed by circulation on 14 January 2026, is effective from the same date and is subject to shareholder approval.

Mr. Rivero currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Reporting, Finance, and Tax at the ultimate holding company, RHI Magnesita N.V. He brings significant financial leadership and governance experience, having previously been a Partner at Ernst and Young (EY), where he advised large listed companies on complex accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance in the UK and US. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant in Spain and England & Wales, and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.

In addition to his appointment as a director, the Board has reconstituted its committees. The Nomination & Remuneration Committee now includes Mr. Nazim Sheikh as Chairman, Mr. Kamal Sarda as Member, and Mr. Gustavo Lucio Goncalves Franco as Member. The Risk Management Committee comprises Mr. Nazim Sheikh as Chairman, Mr. Kamal Sarda as Member, and Mr. Parmod Sagar as Member. The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee has Ms. Sonu Chadha as Chairperson, Mr. Parmod Sagar as Member, and Mr. Azim Syed as Member.

It is confirmed that Mr. Rivero is not related to any existing directors of the company and is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any authority.
