Regaal Resources Limited announced that officers from the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI), Patna Zonal Unit, conducted a search operation at the company's Principal Place of Business in Kishanganj, Bihar. The search commenced on January 10, 2026, at 02:45 PM and concluded on January 12, 2026, at 08:00 PM.

During the operation, DGGI officers inspected relevant documents, registers, and records related to GST and seized some for further verification. As of the disclosure date, no order, demand, or penalty has been passed against the company. Regaal Resources is currently evaluating the matter and will take appropriate actions in accordance with applicable laws.

As a measure of abundant caution and transparency, the company has made a voluntary payment of ₹88,72,228, which includes a tax payment of ₹77,14,980 and a penalty of ₹11,57,248, under Section 74(5) of the CGST Act, 2017. The company stated that it is cooperating with the authorities and will provide further updates as required.
