REC Limited has announced a change in its Board of Directors. Shri Harsh Baweja, Director (Finance), has superannuated from the company's services on January 31, 2026. Consequently, he has ceased to hold the positions of Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer of REC, effective February 1, 2026. In light of this, the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has assigned the additional charge of Director (Finance) at REC to Shri Jitendra Srivastava, who is also the Chairman & Managing Director of REC. This additional charge will be in effect for a period of three months starting from February 1, 2026, or until a regular Director (Finance) is appointed, or until further orders are issued, whichever occurs first.
