RattanIndia Power Limited has released its earnings update for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The company reported a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for 1200 MW, with an additional 28 MW sold in the open market. The Amravati plant demonstrated a steady improvement in Plant Load Factor (PLF) and Plant Availability Factor (PAF). For FY26, the plant achieved a PLF of 82.10% and a PAF of 87.88%, positioning it among the top-performing plants in Maharashtra. The company received and unloaded 1,469 coal rakes, averaging 4.0 rakes daily. Revenue from operations increased by 8% quarter-on-quarter in Q4 FY26, reaching ₹788 crore from ₹728 crore in Q3 FY26. During FY26, the company sold 22.19 million units (MUs) on the power exchange, generating ₹16.38 crore in revenue, in addition to the revenue earned through the PPA. In regulatory updates, the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) issued a judgment on May 8, 2025 (modified on May 15, 2025) regarding notifications mandating 100% utilization of ash and levies on surface transportation and sizing charges by SECL as a Change in Law. RattanIndia Power filed a remand petition with MERC on July 10, 2025, seeking directions for payment release related to this claim. MSEDCL has filed a Civil Appeal in the Supreme Court on August 4, 2025, challenging the APTEL order. For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, RattanIndia Power reported revenue from operations of ₹787.69 crore and a profit before tax of ₹41.45 crore. For the full year ended March 31, 2026, revenue from operations stood at ₹2,991.36 crore, with a profit before tax of ₹46.59 crore. The company's paid-up equity share capital is ₹5,370.11 crore.
