RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has announced the receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Central Railway for a significant project. The order involves the Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) of IP-MPLS network equipment across various stations within the Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Bhusawal, and Nagpur Divisions of Central Railway.

This project aims to establish a unified communication network on Indian Railways. The order is from a domestic entity and is classified as a project. The estimated size of the order, as per the LoA, is ₹88,66,49,234 (Rupees Eighty-Eight Crore, Sixty-Six Lakh, Forty-Nine Thousand, Two Hundred and Thirty-Four).

The execution period for this contract is set until January 13, 2027. RailTel confirmed that its promoters or group companies do not have any interest in Central Railway, and the order does not fall under related party transactions. The LoA was received on January 14, 2026, at 11:30 AM.
