Quality Power Electrical Equipments Limited announced the execution of a Share Subscription Agreement and Shareholders Agreement for the acquisition of a 76% equity stake in Veeral Controls Private Limited by its subsidiary, Quality Power Engineering Projects Private Limited. This acquisition will make Veeral Controls a step-down subsidiary of Quality Power Electrical Equipments Limited. Veeral Controls, established in 1993, is a power electronics company specializing in high current rectifiers and power conversion systems for industrial, rail, nuclear, and defense applications. The company has a paid-up share capital of ₹32 Lacs and reported a turnover of ₹4.19 Crore as of March 31, 2025. Its turnover for the past three fiscal years was ₹4.19 Crore (FY25), ₹2.94 Crore (FY24), and ₹8.57 Crore (FY23). The acquisition aims to expand Quality Power's technology base into high current power conversion, complementing its existing products and strengthening its presence in green hydrogen, industrial, rail, and defense sectors. The total equity infusion for this transaction is approximately ₹15.2 Crore (152,000,000 INR), which includes all assets, land, and factory costs. The acquisition is not considered a related party transaction, and neither the promoter nor group companies have any pre-existing interest in Veeral Controls. The transaction is expected to enhance Quality Power's ability to serve customers directly at the point of power conversion and expand its relevance in the evolving energy transition space.
