Punjab & Sind Bank (PSB) has announced that an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of its shareholders will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, commencing at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be conducted through Video Conferencing (VC) / Other Audio Visual Means (OAVM). The primary purpose of this EGM is to seek shareholder approval for the bank's plan to raise capital through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP). The bank intends to issue equity shares via QIP to raise an amount up to ₹3000 crore. This announcement follows a previous intimation on October 16, 2025, where the Board of Directors had approved the bank's capital or fund-raising plan.
