Praxis Home Retail Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Shashwat Nigam as Chief Executive Officer and an additional Director, effective February 03, 2026. This appointment is subject to shareholder approval and was approved by the Board of Directors on January 30, 2026, upon the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee. Mr. Nigam brings over 18 years of experience as a P&L owner and operator, with a track record in organizing businesses, restoring performance, and scaling operations. He has previously worked with the company as a consultant for seven months, initiating key turnaround actions. Before joining Praxis, he led the ₹3,000 crore national retail business at Entero Healthcare and founded two ventures, InDepot and Open Secret. He also spent 14 years at Hindustan Unilever Limited in various leadership roles. Mr. Nigam holds a postgraduate degree in Management from ISB Hyderabad and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT BHU Varanasi. This appointment is considered a critical step towards stabilizing the business and executing a comprehensive turnaround and value-creation agenda.
