PNC Infratech Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Awadh Expressway Private Limited, has achieved provisional completion for the 'Construction of 6-lane upgradable to 8-lane of Kanpur Lucknow Expressway including spur from km 28.500 to 73.744 km in the State of Uttar Pradesh on Hybrid Annuity Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-2)'. The Provisional Completion Certificate (PCC/PCOD) was issued on February 4, 2026, declaring the project fit for entry into commercial operations effective October 1, 2025. The project, executed under a Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) contract with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), has a Bid Project Cost (BPC) of ₹1513.0 Crores, plus any Price Index Multiple amount as per the concession agreement. The appointed date for the project was November 10, 2022, with a scheduled completion period of 910 days. The originally scheduled completion date was May 8, 2025, but an extension of time was granted, leading to a provisional completion date of October 1, 2025.
