Pidilite Industries Limited announced the appointment of Dr. Naushad Darius Forbes as an Additional Director (Non-Executive and Independent) on its Board of Directors. The appointment, effective from 21st January, 2026, is for an initial term of five consecutive years and is subject to shareholder approval. Dr. Forbes is not liable to retire by rotation and has provided declarations confirming he is not debarred from holding a Director's office by any statutory authority, nor is he related to any existing Director or Key Managerial Personnel. Dr. Forbes holds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD Degrees from Stanford University and is the Co-Chairman of Forbes Marshall. He also chairs the Ananta Aspen Centre and the Centre for Technology, Innovation and Economic Research. Previously, he served as an occasional Lecturer and Consulting Professor at Stanford University. Dr. Forbes has been actively involved with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), serving as President for 2016-17 and currently chairs several national committees related to technology, innovation, research, intellectual property, and higher education. He is also a founding member of Nayanta University.
