One 97 Communications Limited (Paytm) has approved providing Default Loss Guarantee (DLG) of up to ₹90 crore to each of its lending partners. This arrangement, approved on June 04, 2026, aligns with the company's existing loan distribution business and the applicable regulatory framework. The DLG will be provided to lending partners such as Muthoot Fincorp Limited and Kisetsu Saison Finance (India) Private Limited. The guarantee will be in the form of Fixed Deposits or Bank Guarantee and is expected to result in financial guarantee expenses of up to ₹90 crore for each lending partner over time. In a separate development, Mr. Ashit Ranjit Lilani has withdrawn his consent for reappointment as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a second term, which was set to commence on July 05, 2026. His current term will conclude on July 04, 2026, due to other professional commitments. Consequently, he will also cease to be the chairperson of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee, and a member of the Audit Committee and Investment Committee. The Board has noted his withdrawal and expressed appreciation for his services.
