Park Medi World Limited has announced its decision to acquire the entire existing shareholding of KP Institute of Medical Sciences (KPIMS) in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The acquisition, an all-cash transaction, is valued at ₹245 Crore. KPIMS is a significant healthcare facility in the region with a total capacity of 360 beds. This move aligns with Park Medi World's cluster-based growth strategy, aiming to enhance operational efficiencies and achieve economies of scale through proximity of its hospitals. The acquisition is expected to strengthen the Park Group's presence in key urban centers across North India. The integration of KPIMS is anticipated to add immediate value, with plans to bolster clinical programs, improve efficiency, and increase utilization. Dr. Ankit Gupta, Managing Director of Park Medi World Limited, stated that this acquisition is a major step in expanding their presence in North India, reinforcing the vision of accessible, quality, and affordable healthcare. KPIMS, launched in 2023, is a prominent multi-specialty provider with NABH accreditation. The transaction is expected to be completed by February 28, 2026. Park Group currently operates 14 hospitals with 3,250 beds and plans to expand its capacity to 5,260 beds by March 2028 through further integrations.
