Pace Digitek Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Ketan Chitnis as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its material subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited. This appointment is effective from January 16, 2026, and Mr. Chitnis will serve in a full-time employment capacity.

Mr. Chitnis brings over two decades of extensive experience in the Energy Storage Solutions and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) domain. His professional background includes significant leadership roles, entrepreneurial exposure, and strategic business leadership across various reputed organizations. He is recognized for his ability to build scalable operations, drive execution excellence, and lead business transformation initiatives within the energy storage value chain.

Academically, Mr. Chitnis holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) from Mumbai University and is a Fellow of the Institution of Valuers. Prior to this appointment, he served as Business Head - Energy Storage Solutions at Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Energy (Greentech), where he was instrumental in leading strategic initiatives for Advanced Chemistry Cell and ESS businesses, including planning large-scale manufacturing facilities and global technology partnerships. His prior leadership roles include positions at Exide Leclanche Energy Private Limited, Waaree Energies Limited, and Base Corporation Limited, complemented by 17 years of entrepreneurial experience.

In his new role at Lineage Power Private Limited, Mr. Chitnis will oversee the Production, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Product-Service, and Business Development departments.
